Studio Membership
Community is the core of our vision.
As artists we are constantly evolving, growing and learning. We believe this process can’t happen in a vacuum. Art thrives when people of varying skill levels work together in a common space. A seasoned potter can be inspired by a student’s glaze combination, the beginner learns to throw better from watching the seasoned potter. We all learn from and influence one another, the results are better work for all. If you are a ceramic artist who seeks an inclusive, open, collaborative and dynamic work community – a place where ideas and techniques are shared freely – then Fahrenheit may just be the studio for you.
$175/month
Our General Membership is designed for hobbyists and small-run potters. Regretfully we are not able to accept large-scale or production potters at this time.
Membership benefits include:
Daily studio access from 7am to 10pm, 365 days per year
Use of all studio equipment, and open studio supplies (kilns are loaded and unloaded by Fahrenheit staff only)
One 4’ x 2’ shelf for work in progress, tools and supplies
Firing at discounted membership pricing
20% Discounts on all classes and workshops
Family membership add on – $50/person, restrictions apply, speak with Amy for more details.
Pause memberships for up to 4 weeks per year
Access to members only events and special continuing clay education.
Ability to participate in seasonal studio sales
Details on booth charges are provided at the announcement of the sale
Clay
Clay is available for purchase at the studio. We carry various Laguna and Aardvark Clays. While we do not permit outside clay in our studio, if there is special clay you would like, discuss it with us. Upon approval, we will special order it for you.
Firing
Firing at discounted membership pricing
Ability to rent one full kiln firing for your own work once per year (up to 7 cubic ft) at a discounted member only rate.
